Invercargill Museum (Tuatara)

The Tuatara "living fossil" has become a widly known and protected icon for invercargill. Invercargill Museum and art gallery are the only successful breeding programme for the living Tuatara. They are very interesting animals and as we have been there we reccomend going to see the fasinating lizard. You can also look around the museum and gain some useful information as it has been a very successful buisness. You should also pop along and visit the beautiful gardens next to the museum.
